Dorothy Jacks was elected Property Appraiser in 2016 after a 28 year career in the office. The office includes 220 staff in five service centers valuing over 650,000 real property parcels each year. Dorothy is committed to excellence in valuation, customer service and technology. She is an active member of the Palm Beach community and has also served in leadership roles in many assessment organizations including as President of the International Association of Assessing Officers in 2018. In 2021 the office received the Certificate of Excellence in Assessment Administration from the IAAO.
